Bacchanal are a 5 piece Blues & Rock band from Fife in Scotland. They've been on the go for more than 10 years playing anywhere and everywhere. 2007 saw them play, among other gigs, the Bell Rock Blues Festival in Arbroath.

The Blue Hyenas
"Laughing In The Face Of The Blues", The Blue Hyenas are a top Edinburgh based blues trio and have been around since the early 90s. Founder member Sandy "Beaches" Tweeddale's powerful vocals and impressive mix of guitar styles gives the Hyenas their unique sound. Sandy will also be playing a solo acoustic spot early on the Saturday afternoon.

Glasgow-based Brown Eye Superfly understand groove. They also understand the need for low-down and dirty guitar riffs and embrace influences from all musical genres to create a unique sound that both you and your tapping foot are not going to forget in a hurry. The Five Aces
Their brand of music spans the period between the late 50's & 60's where rhythm & blues had almost started to develop into soul, and hammond organs played instrumentals that girls danced to. Rock 'n' roll was all about the twist, the monkey & 1001 other dance crazes and beat was not yet beaten into submission by the rock.

Fraser Speirs & Alan Nimmo
The pairing of two of Scotland's finest musicians first occurred at a prestigious art launch in the Kibble Palace in Glasgow's Botanic Gardens and they were subsequently featured on Radio Scotland in the week of concerts to mark the opening of the BBC's Pacific Quay studio complex. Well respected on the European blues circuit they have established a strong following nationwide.

Gerry Jablonski
Fusion at it's best. Gerry plays acoustic guitar in an extraordinary way. He uses only his guitar and a few pedals but emanates the sound of a 4 or 5 piece band. His music is in a category of it's own, mixing blues, rock, ballads and folk, mostly his own compositions but some great covers thrown in too.

Born in Birmingham but now London based, '07 saw Alastair playing across the UK, Spain and Canada. His folky sound, with hints of bluegrass and country still retains an essential Englishness. As he says, imagine Noel Coward playing Bluegrass and you'll still be wide of the mark!

Davie Lawson,
An acoustic troubadour originally from Wales, Davie has played extensively around Scotland and the Netherlands. He captures his audience armed only with an acoustic guitar and the occasional bit of harmonica, with songs that have echos of a young Bob Dylan and Neil Young.

Doghouse Roses
Doghouse Roses sound lies in the spaces between Pentangle and Fairport Convention, with a nod to Gillian Welch on the way. They play on the new Willard Grant Conspiracy album “Pilgrim Road”, and Doghouse Roses release a single “Greener the Grass” on Yellowroom records on the 26th May.

Hercules Mandarin
A singer/songwriter based in Glasgow and a regular on the Glasgow music circuit. Debut album 'Blonde. Drunk. Brilliant.' was released last summer and they are shortly going to enter the 'pre-production' stage for the next album, scheduled for release in summer 2008. A slight change from the norm, they are going to do an acoustic folk set at the festival.

Their music ranges from up-tempo bluegrass and old-time tunes, to the sweet sounds of gospel harmonies. As well as the standard bluegrass arrangements with guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle and bass, Home Made Jam do a mixture of country, folk, blues and of course, Scottish flavours.

Joni Fuller A sixteen year old singer-songwriter, classically-trained pianist and violinist, has performed in the UK, across Europe and beyond. Aged 12, she opened at the Casino Barriere (Montreux Jazz Festival) and has since played live venues ranging from intimate theatres in Paris and Belgium to 60,000 seater stadiums in Germany, as well as making TV and radio appearances in the UK, France and Switzerland. Joni has recently teamed up with gifted young guitarist Tim de Graauw to develop her live acoustic set.

Hailing from Dundee, Scotland, Havana Swing have been "delighting audiences since 1986."
